Famiglia oriunda francese e venuta in Vigone con Nicola, scudiere ducale, che nel 1529 fu castellano di Vigone e nel 1532 fu custode del castello di Osasco. Antonio Soardi fu aiutante di camera del Re di Francia, mentre suo figlio Carlo fu luogotenente nel reggimento Senantes. Da Carlo nacque Antonio, che consegnò l'arma l'8 luglio 1687. Carlo Giacinto (nato a Vignone, 20 luglio 1741, deced. ivi, 8 gennaio 1826), di Gio. Giacomo, fu giudice di Chieri, prefetto di Pinerolo, ed ebbe il titolo di senatore. Eresse (1816) la commenda Mauriziana patronata dei SS. Carlo e Giacinto, della quale fu investito (11 febbraio 1826) il figlio Filippo (nato a Carignano, 16 ottobre 1789). Sposò costui in prime nozze (1813) Isabella Maria dei conti Pullini di S.
