La familia Raschini nace de Brescello. Tenía varios personajes prominentes: Domenico Maria, de Giulio, notario y causidista de Brescello, imprimió en 1677 una obra titulada: Modern Practice of the Notary, que fue altamente acreditada. Es recordado por una placa en la Iglesia de la Concepción de Brescello y por Tiraboschi. Antonio Mario, di Giulio, di Antonio (nacido en 1699) estudió matemáticas en Parma y se convirtió en matemático y director de las fortificaciones y fábricas del duque Ercole Rinaldo d'Este, y estudió ciencias militares, publicando varios trabajos: Diccionario crítico historiador militar, impreso en Venecia en 1759; Tratado de fortificación. Dejó un tratado de manuscrito de arquitectura civil; Investigaciones sobre el equilibrio y la presión de los líquidos en el gran baño Rivalla. Escribió dos disertaciones en una rendija, manifestada en la cúpula de San Pedro en Roma, invitada a este estudio junto con otros arquitectos más conocidos de la época.
