Don Giaime Sotel intervenne con gli altri Baroni di Spagna nella cacciata de' Morischi furon anche in Zamora Città della Galizia Don Antonio de S. hjdalgo, e ricchissimo Cavaliero, il quale fondò una sontuosa Cappella nella Chiesa Parocchiale di S. Andrea delle medesima Città, con lo ius patronato, di poter eligere diversi Cappellani con grosso stipendio annuale, il qual Antonio de S. fù anco uno delli conquistatori dell'India con gl'altri, che andarono à tale effetto. Il cui padre Gregorio de S. fù Cavaliero di molta stima per il suo valore, come anche Alonzo de S. Cavaliero dell'habito di S. Giovanne, e fondator dell'Hospitale, chiamato hoggi de los Sotelos in detta Città di Zamora. Parimente Alonzo de S. di Mella della medesima famiglia, fondò in detta Città un Monasterio
