En la Edad Media, esta familia poseía la jurisdicción y el castillo de Spineda, ahora un pueblo en el distrito de Mestre. Pasado de ese lugar para vivir en Treviso, se agregó a esa nobleza desde el siglo IX. Tenía una serie de individuos que se distinguían en sus túnicas y armas. De la historia de Treviso, se observó que Ubertino V S. Cónsul de la ciudad de Treviso y uno de los Reyes Magos enviaron desde la misma ciudad alrededor del año 1180 para hacer las paces con el Obispo de Feltre. Bartolommeo en 1489 fue creado un caballero amado por el emperador Federico III. Fue confirmado noble con la Resolución Soberana el 1 de agosto de 1819. Recordamos: Lodovico Maggiore, ex Veneto retirado, hijo del difunto Bartolommeo y casado con sig. Margherita Petalà; su hijo: Peter Otra rama de la misma familia, confirmada como noble con Resolución Soberana
