Possedeva questa Famiglia nel Medio Evo la giurisdizione e castello di Spineda ora villaggio del distretto di Mestre. Passata da quel luogo ad abitare in Treviso fu aggregata a quella nobiltà sin dal secolo nono. Ebbe una serie d'Individui che si distinsero nella toga e nelle armi. Dalla Storia Trevigiana rilevasi essere stato Ubertino V S. Console della città di Treviso ed uno dei Sapienti spediti dalla stessa città circa l'anno 1180 a far la pace col Vescovo di Feltre. Bartolommeo nel 1489 fu creato Cavaliere aurato dall'Imperatore Federico III. Fu confermata nobile con Sovrana Risoluzione primo agosto 1819. Si ricordano: Lodovico maggiore ex Veneto in pensione, figlio del fu Bartolommeo e ammogliato colla sig. Margherita Petalà; il di loro figlio: Pietro. Altro ramo della medesima Famiglia, confermato nobile con Sovrana Risoluzione 22 settembre 1820 è rappresentato
