A S.E. il tenente generale Paolo (nato a Felizzano, 2 novembre 1845; deced. a Spigno Monferrato, 22 settembre 1918) che fu deputato al Parlamento Nazionale, senatore del Regno (1909), sottosegretario di Stato alla Guerra (1905), Ministro della Guerra (1909), comandante dell'arma dei RR. Carabinieri, e insignito del supremo Ordine della SS. Annunziata, venne con R.D. motu proprio del 20 novembre 1913 e successive RR. LL. PP. del 1° marzo 1914 concesso il titolo di conte. Sposò Rina Merialdi e nacquero da queste nozze Camillo (nato a Torino, 24 ottobre 1892), che è dottore di leggi, e decorato di medaglia di bronzo, Amalia (nata il 23 marzo 1895) e Giuseppe (nato il 19 luglio 1896).
