Die ersten Erinnerungen an diese Adelsfamilie gehen auf das Jahr 1128 zurück. In diesem Jahr wurde ein Posone Spitameta vom Senat von Benevent ins Exil geschickt, weil er den Teilen des Guglielmo-Rektors dieser Stadt gefolgt war, die vom Volk wegen seiner schlechten Regierung getötet wurden. Campanile Filiberto sagt in seiner bibliografischen Recherche "Dell'armi oder Abzeichen der Adligen, wo die Reden einiger Familien so ausgelöscht sind, wie sie im Königreich Neapel leben", gedruckt in Neapel im Jahre 1618, lange 4 .. Ein hoher Stolz kann sicherlich einer alten Familie zuteil werden, die, ohne Märchen zu helfen, wie es der geräucherten Antike eigen ist, mit historischer Wahrheit der Welt ihren Ursprung zeigen kann, obwohl sie längst alt geworden ist. Dieser Stolz ohne Foul kann dieser Familie zugeschrieben werden
