Gerardo S. Cavalier Narbonese defioso di militar contro i Mori di Spagna, se ne passò in Aragona à serviggi militari del Rè Pietro, dove per il suo valore acquistò alcune Ville, e Castelli. Di cui ne venne Guglielmo S. detto in lingua Spagnola Escriban, che per il suo valore acquistò non lungi Valentia la Villa de Patraix, e la Corte della detta Città, con tutti i suoi termini, e giuriditioni nell'anno 1237 servendo parimente di Secretario, e di Protonotaro del Regno di Valenza il Rè D.Giaime il primo.
