Ancient and very noble German family, of clear and ancestral virtue, which has spread over the centuries in various regions of Europe and the world. This surname already appears in the fourteenth century and in fact in 1327 a Fridericus Stechemesser flourished in Bavaria. Heraldically more relevant, however, are the traces that this family has left in Baden-Württemberg: in the city of Feldkirch, in the year 1404, a Dangel Stechemesser sat among the noble councilors. On the other hand, this family, in the succession of ages, has always managed to distinguish itself thanks to the elevated characters to which it gave birth.
