Family originating from Collescipoli, in the province of Terni, aggregated in 1814 to the Terni patriciate and in 1846 to the Roman nobility in the person of Carlo Antonio and Curzio. This family died out with Antonino, who married Cristina of the Gabrielli princes, from whom he had no male offspring. It is generically registered in the Official Italian List of 1922 with the titles of Terni nobleman and Roman nobleman (mf.). Other branch. Carlo Antonio and Curzio Stefanoni, in 1846 were joined to the Roman nobility. They descended from a Liberated Mayor in 1580. They died out in Antonino who married Cristina of the Gabrielli princes and had no male offspring.
