L'ancêtre de cette famille est Francesco Antonio, marchand de Trente, qui obtint la noblesse palatine le 20 décembre 1767 et avec diplôme le 14 novembre 1772 de Marie-Thérèse d'Autriche, celui du SRI avec les prédicats de Prenterhof (Cabrusa) et Hohenmaur (Muralta ). Ils eurent alors la noblesse épiscopale tridentine avec un Diplôme daté du 2 mars 1783. Ils furent inscrits à l'Enregistrement Noble du Royaume de Bavière le 17 novembre 1817. Luigi, capitaine royal impérial, fut agrégé à la noblesse du Grand-Duché de Parme le 8 octobre 1854. Ils sont reconnus nobles du SRI* avec DM le 19 novembre 1926. *Saint Empire romain germanique, nom officiellement pris par l'Empire romain d'Occident reconstitué après le sacre solennel de Charlemagne à Rome (800).
