Ascritta al primo Ordine civico della città di Chieti. Ricevuta nel S.M. Ordine di Malta, in Priorato, nel 1775, in pesona di Giuseppe Maria, avendone fatta la pruova da Giovan Cola di Cermignano, primo stipite, dal 1459, e passata in Convento nel 1776 in persona di Giovanni per pruova di consanguineità con detto Giuseppe, suo fratello (Archivio del Gr. Priorato di Napoli). E' però, detta famiglia, era già stata ricevuta nell'Ordine, per giustizia, nel 1664, come quarto della famiglia Leognano Ferramosca (Archivio dello stesso Gr. Pr. di Napoli). Marchese di Cermignano, per riconoscimento della R. Camera della Sommaria del 1706 (mpr.). Per successione della famiglia Alfieri, non ancora legalmente riconosciuta, potrebbe aver diritto al titolo di marchese di Poggio Picenze, con anzianità del 1677. Ascritta al Registro dei Feudatari col titolo di marchese di Cermignano, in persona del marchese Rinaldo n. 10 agosto 1786, deced. 22 settembre 1866. La famiglia
