Famiglia siciliana, che si vuole originaria da Venezia, passata prima in Napoli poi in Sicilia nel secolo XVI con un Gian Andrea, capitano di Carlo V, e che si stabilì nella città di Piazza ed i cui posteri trapiantarono in Alcamo. Francesco fu capitano giustiziere di Alcamo nel 1626; la stessa carica ebbe Giuseppe nel 1663; un altro Francesco fu governatore di Alcamo nel 1688 ed un altro Giuseppe fu cavaliere di giustizia dell'Ordine Costantiniano di S. Giorgio nel 1799. Questa famiglia possedette i feudi di Geraci e Geraciotti, nonché le baronie di Sant'Anna e di Radilbesi. Del titolo di barone di Radilbesi l'ultima investita fu Giovanna, il 6 giugno 1762. La famiglia è iscritta genericamente nell'Elenco Ufficiale Nobiliare Italiano del 1922 col titolo di barone di Radilbesi , in persona dei discendenti dall'ultima investita Giovanna su detta.
