I conti Suardi di Trescore discendono dal conte Teutaldo (1330). Hanno palazzo in Trescore ed a Bergamo in via Pignolo. Due lapidi sulla facciata, ricordano le visite dei Sovrani d'Italia. Il 23 sett. 1712, vennero iscritti nel Libro d'Oro di Venezia, col titolo di conte: Suardo, Stefano, Giuseppe e Lodovico quondam Gianforte. Il conte Gianforte, figlio di Giuseppe I, entrò nel consiglio di Bergamo nel 1755. Gianforte IV, figlio di Giuseppe II, ottenne la conferma della nobiltà il 24 nov. 1820 ed è iscritto nell'El. 1828 e 1840, col titolo di conte che compete a tutti i discendenti. Uguale conferma, coll'iscrizione nel Libro d'Oro della Nobiltà Italiana, ottenne Gianforte V il 26 giugno 1916. Da Gianforte III, consigliere di Bergamo nel 1755, è nato Giuseppe II; da questi e dalla contessa Benedetta Vertova è nato il 12 maggio 1799, Gianforte IV; da Gianforte IV e dalla nobile contessa Giulia
