A família antiga e elegante de Canzano, cuja primeira informação remonta ao século XVII, cuja mansão antiga deu seu nome à aldeia de Teramo, chamou, precisamente, "Villa Taraschi". Hoje, em Canzano, ainda é possível admirar a Casa Taraschi, com o interessante portal do século XVIII, e um brasão da família do século XVIII aparece, além disso, pintado em uma das pinturas preservadas na igreja da Madonna dell'Alno. Além disso, essa família sempre se mostrou pelos personagens elevados, aos quais deu à luz. Entre estes, lembramos: Nicolantonio, que em 1667 foi o fundador do benefício de S. Martino na igreja de S. Maria dell'Alno, mencionada na história de Palma; Francesco, notário, morando no século XVII; Egídio, que floresceu no século XIX, pároco de Canzano, lembrado por Palma; Agostino, subintendente, ou seja, governador real do distrito de Larino e, de outros lugares, morreu em 1883, lembrado no elogio fúnebre composto por Giuseppe
