Famiglia, oriunda da Cuneo passata poi in Cherasco suddivisa nelle linee dei conti di Castelvecchio dei conti di Canosio e dei conti di Stroppo. Appartenne alla prima Ignazio Felice (n. 1701; deced. 14 febbraio 1756), di Bartolomeo, che fu infeudato di Castelvecchio e Borgo il 25 marzo 1722 e investito col titolo comitale il 23 luglio 1722 e l'8 giugno 1733. Ebbe costui per fratello Pietro Francesco (deced. 2 giugno 1759) che ottenne R. Assenso il 21 marzo 1751 per succedere al fratello nel feudo, del quale fu investito il 21 marzo 1756. Appartenne alla seconda linea Giuseppe, che fu infeudato di Canosio il 13 Febb. 1722 e investito col titolo comitale il 23 febb. successivo. Fu suo figlio Giovanni Matteo, che fu vice-intendente di Cuneo (1741) e fu investito del feudo il 25 ag. 1731. Appartenne alla terza linea l'avvocato Filiberto Felice, che fu infeudato di Stroppo il 7
