Nach der sorgfältigen Recherche von Herrn Giorgio nobile T., Präsident der Heraldischen Sektion der Historischen Gesellschaft von Athen, scheint, dass die Tipaldi von Neapel, Grafen und Marquisen von Castel S. Giovanni sowie die von Kefalonia, alle Nachkommen des Grafen Collello Tipaldi, Leutnant des Königs von Neapel Ladislao bei Carlo, zählen Tocco, Herr von Epirus und die Jonian Islands, gehören zur selben Familie wie die alten Tebaldi von Rom. Diese Familie, die mit Waffen aufzieht: Silber zum aufsteigenden roten Pferd, aus Rom (um 715 zur Zeit von Bonifazio, Bischof von Mainz), verzweigte sich in verschiedene Städte Italiens und nahm verschiedene Nachnamen an, wie: Tebaldi, Teobaldi, Tedaldi, Tealdi, Tipaldo usw.
