Famiglia che era molto nota in Trento avanti il 1528. Si ritiene oriunda da Tesino. Un Paolo T. fu podestà di Rovereto nel 1560; un Antonio, si sarebbe rifugiato in Val di Non assieme al principe vescovo Madruzzo per sfuggire alla peste che imperversò a Trento nella seconda metà del `500; un Nicolò (deced. 1637) prese parte alle guerre contro i Grigioni. Salvatore, figlio del predetto, nacque il 9 nov. 1608 e guerreggiò pure contro i Grigioni. Giovanni Antonio, figlio del predetto Salvatore, chiese il grado di nobile del principato vescovile trentino, che gli fu conferito con Diploma 24 nov. 1698. Egli ebbe due figli: Salvatore e Pietro Virgilio, sarcedote, dottore in teologia, pittore, poeta e letterato, cappellano dell'elettore palatino di Baviera, canonico della Collegiata di Gries ed infine priore di S. Romedio. Dal predetto Salvatore nacque il 6 dic. 1712 Francesco Saverio (deced. il 30 aprile 1741). Questi generò
