Carlo II, re di Spagna, in considerazione degli alti meriti e delle preclari doti di Andrea Tedde-Amoga, di Sardegna, il quale aveva prestato grandi servizi alla Real Corona e traeva i natali da onorata stirpe, volle elevarlo a più eminente grado di dignità col concedere a lui ed ai suoi discendenti per linea maschile i titoli di cavalierato e di nobiltà con l'uso delle armi gentilizie, in virtù dei diplomi dati in Madrid il 30 ott. 1603. Lo stesso don Andrea Tedde-Amoga, di Nulvi, e don Tomaso Tedde furono abilitati, nel Parlamento Generale tenuto in Cagliari nel 1698 sotto la presidenza del Vicerè conte di Montellano, nella qualità di nobili. In seguito nell'elenco dei feudatari, nobili e cavalieri, residenti nei villaggi della R. Prefettura di Sassari, compilato dal R. Prefetto e trasmesso alla R. Segreteria di Stato e di Guerra presso il vicerè di Sardegna, sono compresi i nomi di
