Very ancient and noble family, called Tedeschi or Tedesco, who boasts as a glorious progenitor a Ruggero Scandolf, Teutonic knight. In fact, it is said that the latter, in 1354, obtained a concession of the land of Gagliano and that, under King Federico III, he owned the land and the castle of Sutera.
