Antigua y muy noble familia lombarda, con residencia principal en Milán, llamada Telo o Telò, que se extendió a lo largo de los siglos en varias regiones de Italia. Desde 1597, la familia tenía su propia tumba noble en la iglesia parroquial de Soresina y era patrona de la capellanía, bajo la invocación de las SS. Sagramento y SS. Reliquias, erigidas en dicha iglesia. Pero, por otro lado, esta familia, siempre, logró distinguirse, gracias a los personajes elevados, a los que dio a luz.
