Im zwölften und dreizehnten Jahrhundert gibt es die ersten Nachrichten dieser Familie in Mailand und Monza. Es gebar den berühmten S. Gerardo von Monza. Es war in zwei Zweige unterteilt: der erste sagte von Monte di Brianza und starb 1789 mit Don Gaetano, apostolischem Protonotar, aus, der seine Schwester Cecilia, die Erbin der Casanova di Civate, die Erbin seines auffälligen Erbes, hinterließ; das zweite, di Canzo genannt, das an dieser Stelle und in der Pfarrkirche das alte edle Grab hatte. Im Mittelalter besaß die Familie das Schloss von Vergano. Don Pietro erhielt mit dem Dekret des IR Araldic Court of Lombardy vom 4. Februar 1777 die Anerkennung des alten Adels der Familie und die Abgrenzung der Waffe im Heraldic Code, einem Adel, der 1816 erneut bestätigt wurde Offizielle italienische Adelsliste mit den Titeln Adel (mf.), Behandlung von Don und Frau, in der Person von Cesare, Antonio, Carlo.
