Un, di Lorenzo, di Niccolò, fu dei priori di Firenze nel 1427. Dal suo matrimonio con Andrevola Gianfigliazzi nacque Niccolò, priore nel 1489, padre di Francesco, che generò Vincenzo, coi due figli del quale, Lodovico e Cosimo, la famiglia si divise in due rami: a) quello di detto Cosimo, padre del capitano Vincenzo, il cui figlio Cosimo, vestito cavalier milite per giustizia nell'Ordine di S. Stefano nel 1701, morì senza prole. b) quello del primogenito Lodovico sudetto che con decreto 13 settembre 1751, fu ascritto al patriziato fiorentino, e che coi figli di Leonardo, di Agostino, nipote di Lodovico, si distinse in due linee: 1) quella di Agostino Alessandro (n. 1805), da cui nacquero Egisto Cesare (n. 1845), Isabella, e Cesare (n. 1847); e 2) quello di Egisto Giovanni (n. 1812) che ebbe solo due figlie: Giulia (n. 1847) e Virginia (n. 1850). La famiglia è iscritta nell'Elenco Ufficiale Nobiliare
