Old family. Beltrame T. in 1279 was in the number of the Veronese councillors. One of this house together with one of the Lavezolas, rich and pious men, donated a large sum in 1487 for the construction of S. Maria della Vittoria. Matteo T. in 1546 was Judge of the College, and then in 1565 he had the first municipal office of Vicar of the House of Merchants. In 1517 Antonio was the first of his house aggregated to the Noble Council, and in 1723 another Antonio was the last. Another family of the same surname from Medole in Bresciano moved to Verona around 1350.
