Oliena family whose information dates back to the XVl century. In 1565 a Sebastiano obtained the leap of Biriddo in emphyteusis; his son Monserrato, collector of the income of the diocese, in 1577 obtained a chapel in the church of Oliena. His sons were admitted to the military station in 1613 during the Parliament of the duke of Gandi; they formed two branches of the family: the Tolo di Galtelli descended from Gabriele, which became extinct in the 17th century. From Giovanni Martino the one from Tolo di Oliena. After 1613 the Tolo took part in other parliaments.
