A família de Florença vem de Sor Ptolomeu de Guccio da Legri, no Val di Marina, e não tem conexão com a de Siena e Pistoia. Guccio, de Filippo, e Tolomeo, foi o primeiro prior desta família em 1300, e depois dele obtiveram essa dignidade 4 entre seus descendentes e 2 foram chamados para fazer parte do quadragésimo oitavo Senado, que é Baccio Maria, de Neri, em 1689, e o famoso economista Matteo, de Neri, em 1801. Os Gucci foram atribuídos ao patriciado florentino por decreto de 19 de abril de 1751. Neri Maria e Luigi Baccio Neri Maria nasceram de Jacopo Maria Luigi, de Matteo Luigi, em virtude do decreto de Magistrado Supremo de Florença, em 25 de fevereiro. 1752, que aprovou o fidecommisso estabelecido pelo senador Girolamo Biffi, cavaleiro de S.
