Très illustre maison de la Bretagne, d'une haute antiquité, dont les premiers auteurs connus sont: Jean, vivant en 1427, épouse Perrine de la Goublaye, dont: Olivier, marié à Jeanne Gouyon; Jean, capitaine de Montafilant en 1480, épouse Marguerite de la Chouë; Pierre, capitaine de Dinan, commandant les francs-archers et élu de l'évêché de Saint-Malo en 1534; trois chevaliers de l'ordre depuis 1564, dont Georges, gentilhomme de la chambre, député aux Etats-Généraux de Blois en 1588; un maréchal de camp en 1704, mort en 1716; un abbé de la Vieuville en 1746. La branche de la Reigneraye fondue dans Lorgeril: Jamet, fils Jean, général des monnaies de Bretagne, trésorier des chartres et épargnes dudit pays en 1457; François, maitre des comptes en 1509, autorisé à reprendre le nom de qui avait été abandonné. Les seigneurs du Bouchet et du Plessix, paroisse de Derval, déboutés à la réformation de 1668 ressort de Nantes.
