Eles são um ramo do Quarenghi ou Querenghi, que se originou do apelido Tondino dado por um de seus descendentes. Assim surgiram os Quarenghi-Schiantarelli, Barberini, Camillotti etc. Durante séculos, essa família esteve no Rotadentro di Valle Imagna, em Palazzago, em Almenno, em Prezzate, em Torre Boldone, em Gandino, em Carpandolo (Brescia), 1786. Giacomo, arquiteto da Corte Imperial da Rússia, é conhecido no final do seg. XVIII e o começo do século. XIX, e seu irmão Francesco Maria, jurista e colecionador. Inquartato: nel primo d'azzurro ad un albero nodrito sulla pinaura erbosa e sostenuto da due leoni affrontati, il tutto al naturale; nel secondo d'oro all'aquila di nero, linguata di rosso e coronata del campo; nel terzo losangato d'argento e di rosso; nel quarto troncato d'argento e di porpora, a tre leoncini al naturale, recisi, e tenenti ognuno tre la branche un tondino d'argento, due nel primo punto e il terzo attraversante nel primo punto. Sul tutto una croce di rosso, scorciata nell'asta verticale ed attraversante sull'inquartatura.
