Era fidalgo da Galiza e veio para Portugal, tomando o partido do Rei D. Fernando contra D. Henrique de Castela. Diz-se que foi cá a trasformação do apelido Torrichão em T. Consta que as armas desta família, se encontravam registadas no Livro dos Reis de Armas, o que prova virem já do século XV. Timbre: o leão do escudo.
