In virtù del diploma imperiale 8 agosto 1764 che gli concedeva per grazia la nobiltà, l'auditore Giuliano, di Marco, fu con decreto 4 marzo dell'anno successivo iscritto nel Libro d'Oro dei nobili di Firenze. Ma nel 1817 il figlio di lui, cav. Marco, essendo riuscito a dimostrare la diretta discendenza da Bartolo, di Cambio, squittinato per la maggiore al Priorato nel 1354, fu con rescritto granducale 4 luglio promosso per giustizia alla classe del patriziato, insieme con i suoi cugini. Figlio di Marco fu Giuliano, che sposò Enrichetta, di Leopoldo Galilei, dalla quale ebbe due figli: Leopoldo e Marco. Il primo di essi fu dall'avo materno chiamato all'eredità del cognome e dell'arma con testamento 19 settembre 1840, omologato con rescritto granducale 18 marzo 1842. La famiglia è iscritta nell'Elenco Ufficiale Nobiliare Italiano col titolo di patrizio di Firenze (mf.), in persona dei: a) disc. da Marco, di Giuliano; b) disc.
