Famiglia livornese nella quale si distinse, nella prima metà del secolo XIX, Costantiniano, di Anastasio, che fu agente consolare della Grecia per il Ducato di Lucca. Carlo Lodovico di Borbone, con decreto del 28 marzo 1842, gli concesse il titolo di nobile di Lucca, trasmissibile ai figli Teodoro e Nicolao, e, con successivo decreto del 28 luglio dello stesso anno, gli conferì il titolo ereditario di barone. Costantino, di Anastasio, fu decorato della croce di S. Lodovico per il merito civile, di quella del Salvatore dal re di Grecia, e di Cristo di Gerusalemme. La famiglia ebbe riconosciuto nel 1902 il titolo di barone (mpr.) e di nobile di Lucca (mf.).
