La famiglia di Ripatransone pare sia un ramo dell'omonima bolognese che ha tomba gentilizia alla Certosa. Nel sec. XV passò in Offida e poi a Ripatransone ove tenne ascritta a quel patriziato nel 1726, quando Niccolò sposò in seconde nozze Francesca, di Giacomo Emidio Condivi; ma da questo matrimonio non vennero figli. Il figlio di primo letto, capitano Gio. Batta, sposò Maria Chiara Condivi, unica figlia di Tommaso Antonio, di Giacomo Emidio. Fu suo figlio Giacomo, che prese il nome di T. Condivi e inquartò l'arma di quest'ultimo casato. Gio. Batta fu dotto giureconsulto, giudice di Tribunale ed elegante scrittore. Nicola, del capitano Gio. Batta, fu cavaliere di Malta e sposò la contessa Rosa Neroni, patrizia di Ripatransone, da cui: Giovanni Battista, avvocato, letterato, stimato giureconsulto ed ardente patriota; e Giacomo, distinto musicista e virtuoso dell'oboe e del corno inglese.
