La famiglia deriva da un Ermanno Trecco Francese figlio di Goffredo Conte Palatino al seguito di Carlo Magno allorchè venne in Italia. Molti scrittori tra cui il Bresciani affermano che nel 923 la famiglia dei T. per le civili discordie trapiantò sua sede in quel Paese, ma che, sedate le cose dall'Imp. Corrado, si restituì in Cremona. Da quest'Ermanno provennero in seguito Uomini distinti nell'armi, nella toga e nelle lettere. Tra i Decurioni o Savj si trovano fra i tani nel 1037 Albertone, nel 1345 Massimiliano, nel 1554 Antonio, nel 1611 Lodovico, nel 1658 Giulio, e nel 1716 Carlo Baldassarre. Nell'armi si distinsero nel 1137 Antoniolo Govenatore di Pizzighettone, e Marzio nel 1167 creato Conte Palatino. Nelle dignità Ecclesiastiche vi sono Omobono nel 1153 Canonico della Cattedrale, nel 1215 Sigismondo Arcidiacono della stessa, Ippolito nel 1415 Auditore di Gregorio XII, Giacomo nel 1499.
