O Comitê concedeu aos Bispos de T. cerca de 1000, praticamente os mesmos desenvolvimentos que os de Vicenza. Mais de 50 castelãos eram vassalos do bispo e representavam tantas famílias poderosas que governaram a Marca Trivigiana e se tornaram ilustres. No entanto, o poder desta instituição definhava após o domínio ecceliniano. Muitas dessas casas foram extintas e outras formaram o primeiro núcleo da nobreza de T. e Asolo. O bispo de T., como o de Vicenza e Brescia, retirou da concessão do Comitê o uso do título de duque, do poder que eles também desejavam exercer, mas que de fato exerceram por muito pouco tempo. Esses títulos utilizados ininterruptamente nos documentos oficiais, mesmo sob o domínio veneziano, levaram ao reconhecimento pelo uso antigo que lhe foi concedido pelo Decreto Ministerial de 19 de junho de 1924.
