Famiglia spagnola assai antica e nobile, detta anche Trias o Triasi, propagatasi, nel corso dei secoli, in diverse regioni d'Europa. In Italia si insediarono in Sicilia ed in Lombardia. Dalle fonti si rivela che un signore di questa famiglia ha partecipato alla conquista dell'isola di Mallorca, al seguito del visconte di Bearn, dal quale venne ricompensato con un patrimonio in Esporlas, goduto dai suoi discendenti fino al 1748, quando sono stati riformati i privilegi di quel regno. Nel secolo XV ha brillato per la sua saggezza e virtù il Canonico della Cattedrale di Palma Triassi Bartolomeo, morto nel 1531. Antonio Triassi ha ottenuto il privilegio di nobiltà, il 27 Novembre 1541, confermatogli il 17 marzo 1586. Baltasar Triassi servì Felipe IV nelle guerre di Catalogna, nel 1641.
