Ancienne et très noble famille piémontaise, appelée Trincheri ou Trinchera, résidant également à Nice, s'est répandue au cours des siècles dans diverses régions d'Italie. Une telle famille illustre, qui parmi ses ancêtres peut se vanter que San Magno, 25e archevêque de Milan, successeur d'Eustorgio II, dont l'épiscopat est placé entre 518 et 530, est orné des titres de : comte de Venanzone et expéditeur de S. Antonino. La noblesse évidente de la famille, en revanche, est attestée par la présence, de son blason, dans le précieux ouvrage d'Antonio Manno, "Il Patriziato Subalpino", volumes I et II, Florence, 1895-1906.
