Questa famiglia discende precisamente da Gerolamo, secondogenito di Angelo, figlio di quel Giuseppe che ottenne la conferma nel 1817. Questo ramo conserva il cognome Manzoni, derivante da Marianna Manzoni, moglie di Antonio e madre del predetto Giuseppe. Da Gerolamo nacque Angelo (Milano, S. Nazaro, 8 ottobre 1859), il quale con R.D. 1 nov. 1909, fu autorizzato ad aggiungere il cognome Caccia a quello T.-Manzoni. Angelo sposò a Milano il 17 dicembre 1891, al signora Adele Pedrazzi, che fu Giovanni e morta ad Arosio il 10 gennaio 1894, contrasse nuovo matrimono con Palmira Polissen (Pavone Canavese 11 luglio 1904). Attualmente è iscritta nell'Elenco Ufficiale Nobiliare Italiano coi titoli di nobile dei conti (mf.), nobile dei signori di Cassina Bardena (Mf.), patrizio milanese (m.), trattamento di don e donna, ma con istanza del febbr. 1930 ha domandato il riconoscimento del titolo di conte di Pontenure per maschi, giusta i limiti della concessione
