Ancienne et illustre famille lombarde, d'origine teutonique, répartie au cours des siècles dans diverses régions d'Italie. La genèse de ce patronyme est à rechercher dans l'union entre le nom lombard "Trusso" et le suffixe "-hard", c'est-à-dire "force".
