Früher Zambelli de Turribus genannt. Ritter des Heiligen Römischen Reiches wurden am 11. September 1778 und Berichte über das Reich am 13. September 1790 geschaffen. Der Titel des Grafen gehörte dieser Familie, ein Titel, den die Kaiser denjenigen verliehen, die an ihrer Seite waren. Aus diesen Grafen wurden diejenigen ausgewählt, die dazu bestimmt waren, die Ämter des königlichen Palastes zu überwachen, und andere wurden an die Regierung der Provinzen des Reiches geschickt, um die Grenzen zu überschreiten. Dann gab es andere Konten, die den erwähnten Uffizien fremd waren, wie die der Annona zugewiesenen, um zu handeln; und auch die Aufseher der Armee hatten diesen Titel. In der Zeit der Goten wurde die Würde des Grafen von mehreren Beamten gewahrt; und die Langobarden sagten immer noch, ihre Gouverneure zählen oder Castaldi.
