Ancient and very noble family from Campania from Massalubrense, called Turris or de Turris and, more anciently, De Turri. Nicolò was adviser to King Robert. It possessed fiefdoms in Abruzzo Citra, was admitted to the Constantinian Order of St. George and on 15 January 1834 was, with notice from the Royal Commission of Titles of Nobility, declared admissible in the Royal Guards of the Body. The family is registered in the Official Italian Noble List of 1922 with the title of noble (mf.) for the descendants of Raffaele, aspiring to Royal Guard of the Body in 1834. lineage.
