Zweig der gleichnamigen Familie ursprünglich aus Dänemark. Mit RD 3. Juni 1926 wurde der Adlige Oscar U. von Alberto ermächtigt, den Nachnamen der aus Westfalen stammenden Adelsfamilie Bansa hinzuzufügen, dem erstgeborenen Zweig, aus dem sie 1825 in der U-Familie ausgestorben war. Mit DP aus Rom am 26. Oktober 1928 wurde der vorgenannte Adlige Oscar Bansa ermächtigt, das Bansa-Wappen selbst zu gestalten. Die Bibliographie dieser Familie wird vom Marquis Vittorio Spreti in seiner 1936 in Mailand gedruckten italienischen Historisch-Edlen Enzyklopädie erwähnt. Er sammelt Manuskripte heraldischen und edel-genealogischen Inhalts in Bibliotheken sowie in vielen öffentlichen und privaten Archiven. Die für die Entstehung des betreffenden Werkes gesammelten Zeugnisse und Unterlagen wurden von der Familie selbst übermittelt. Wie im Heraldic Magazine gezeigt, das vom Heraldic College of Rome herausgegeben wurde.
