Radicó este linaje en el caserío de Olavezar, del Ayutamiento de Ayala y partido de Amurrio (Álava), y de él procedió Iñigo de U., esposo de doña María deIsasi y ambos padres de pedro García de U. e Isasi, bautizado en Olavezar el 19 de Mayo de 1579, que contrajo matrimonio con doña Magdalena de Aguirre, naciendo de esta unión Juan de U. y Aguirre, bautizado en Olavezar el 1° de Mayo de 1631, que celebró su enlace con doña María Cruz de Otaola, y procrearon a Lorenzo de U. y Otaola, bautizado en Olavezar el 30 de Abril de 1676, que tuvo por esposa a doña Catalina de Echaurren, al que hizo madre de Domingo Antonio de U. y Echaurren, bautizado en Quejana (Álava), el 6 de Febrero de 1706, que fué vecino de Sevilla, y el 17 de Junio de 1761 ganó Real provisión de vizcainía en la Chancillería de Valladolid.
