Carlo Emanuele IV, re di Sardegna, prendendo in particolare considerazione i servizi prestati tanto da Francesco di Villasor, quanto dal suo figlio primogenito, coi diplomi, in data da Torino 14 marzo 1797, concedeva a lui ed ai suoi figliuoli e discendenti maschi i titoli di cavalierato e di nobiltà. Dal matrimonio di don Francesco con Giacinta Medas nacquero don Rocco e don Giuseppe Andrea, che furono i capostipiti di due rami. a) Don Rocco, n. 26 dicembre 1778, sposò donna Luigia Paderi ed il 9 febbraio 1816 ebbe il figlio Vincenzo, che, sposatosi con donna Michelina Paderi, ebbe il figlio don Luigi, n. Villaso il 5 marzo 1845, valoroso ufficiale, generale che raggiunse per il suo ardimento e per la sua vasta cultura il grado di comandante di Corpo d'armata. b) Don Giuseppe Andrea sposò Luigia Altzori ed ebbe il figlio Pietro, il quale sposatosi in prime nozze con Massimia
