En Cataluña y Valencia. Ramón y Bernardo de V., naturales del Rosellón, fueron convocados por Pedro III, en Barcelona, el 4 de febrero de 1345, para prestarle homenaje por sus feudos. Hubo una familia de este nombre con solar de Urgel. Pedro V., oriundo de Navarra, asistió a la conquista de Mallorca y de Valencia, y en este reino obtuvo el feudo de Beniferri, avecindándose en la capital. Otros V., según parece oriundos de Francia, asistieron también a la conquista de Valencia, donde se radicaron. Jerónimo V., doctor en ambos Derechos, fue agraciado con el privilegio de caballero del reino de Valencia en 1604. Descendiente suyo fue el noble Tomás V. y Riambau, nacido en Valencia en 1740, que ingresó en la Orden de Santiago en 1764 y en la Real Compañía de Guardias Marinas en 1759.
