Famiglia che si ritiene dello stesso ceppo dell'omonima famiglia ascritta in antico al patriziato della città di Aquila, e trasferita di poi in Celano ed in Magliano dei Marsi dove ha sempre nobilmente vissuto. Si distinse in opere di beneficienze e particolarmente per la fondazione in Magliano dell'asilo della famiglia. Con R.D. 10 agosto 1928, fu riconosciuto ai discendenti di Vincenzo, di Giovani, il titolo di nobile (mf.). Con susseguente R.D. fu concesso al nobile Nicola il titolo trasmissibile di barone. Altro ramo. Famiglia feudataria ascritta al patriziato aquilano nel 1668 ed estinta in principio del XIX secolo. Scipione, poeta ed autore di alcune operette, fioriva nel secolo XVII. Altra famiglia alzò per arma. D'azzurro, a due caprioli d'argento.
