Da questi, attraverso Ogerio, Ansaldo, Giacomo, Francesco (secondo il Buonarrotti: Nicolò), Simone (secondo il Buonarotti: Filippo), Cosmo (signore del lago di Agiò e di castella in Cipro), Cosmo, Simone, Melchior, Simone, Selvaggio, Bendinelli, Gio. Battista, Ambrogio. Francesco Ambrogio, si bipartiscono per i suoi due figli, in due linee: dal primo, di nome Francesco, discende Ambrogio, padre dl vivente Vittorio, riconosciuto 16 agosto 1899, marchese (mpr.), patrizio genovese (m.), residente in Genova, coi suoi figli Anna in Frescobaldi, residente in Firenze; Violante, Ambrogio. Dall'altro figlio di Ambrogio, di nome Brancaleone, discendente il fu Giulio, riconosciuto nobile dei marchesi (m.), patrizio genovese
