Très illustre maison de la Bretagne, d'une haute antiquité, dont les premiers auteurs connus sont: Geoffroi, voyer de Ménébriac, fait une fondation à Saint-Aubin des Bois en 1223; Olivier, mentionné dans une charte de Beauport en 1253; Geoffroi, épouse en 1346, Renée de Guémadeuc; Olivier, chambellan du duc en 1451, épouse Alix de Mauny; Auffroy, chevalier de l'ordre en 1570, épouse en 1540, Marguerite du Vieux-Pont, dame de la Haye-Pesnel; Jacques, frère du précédent, chevalier de l'ordre en 1575, gentilhomme de la chambre du Roi, capitaine de cent lances sous la seigneur de Longueville, marié à Françoise Bertrand, dame de Launay-Bertrand, assista comme député de la noblesse de Saint-Brieuc à la réformation de la coutume en 1580; Nicolas, frère des précédents, aussi chevalier de l'ordre en 1583. La baronnie de Trégomar appartenait par acquêt en 1690 aux Calloët; la branche de la Haie-Pesnel s'est fondue en 1600 dans Guer-Pontcallec.
