Família originária de Venosa, senhor feudal, e agregada à primeira Ordem Cívica da cidade de Matera em Basilicata, recebida na Ordem SM de Malta, desde 1710, com Fabio di Matera (Ordem Arch. Malta 4894-4895); em 1714, como quarto da família Carducci (Arquivos do Estado, Nápoles, vol. 37, Priorado de Barletta); em 1745, como quarto da família Lamberti (Arch. Order of Malta, 4405); e no ramo de Barletta, em 1757, como quarto do cavaleiro Saverio Pappalettere (Arch. Ord. malta 4590). Foi decorada com o título de Marquês de Turi (província de Bari) de 28 de agosto de 1797. Foi reconhecida como uma nobreza generosa pela Comissão Real dos Títulos do Reino das Duas Sicílias, em 1839 e 1843, por ocasião de sua admissão à Guarda Real. do Corpo (Arquivos do Estado, Nápoles, Atas vol.
