Muy antigua caballería de Forézienne que proporcionó varios personajes ilustres. Falcon, caballero, era señor de Fauris y cosgr. de Savignieu cerca de Montbrison, 6 de agosto de 1247; Marquesa, viuda de otro Faucon, damoiseau, guardiana de Marguerite y Falcon III, sus hijos, en 1285 y 1291. Este, calificado como damoiseau, rindió homenaje el 18 de enero de 1338 a lo que tenía en St-Bonnet- el castillo. También encontramos en 1322 y 1333, Arthaud, caballero, señor del Mas de Laval, de la Roche, alquileres nobles en St-Bonnet-le-Château, etc. y Dalmas, damoiseau, señor de Chazelles-sur-Lavieu. Isabelle, conocida como De Chanaleilles (Chenereilles), damisela, vivió en 1361. Ploton, caballero, rindió homenaje el 19 de septiembre de 1378 desde su casa de St-Bonnet-le-Château y sus nobles alquileres de La Tourelle, Magnieu, St-Germain -Laval. Aimé, señor de Chenereilles, Veauche, etc. hijo de otro Amé (o Amédée), conocido como el Viejo, fue creado caballero en 1406, capitán-señor de St-Bonnet-le-Château (1408), alguacil de Forez (1414-1452) y murió el 20 de enero de 1479, dejando a Marie de Chenereilles, dama de Veauche, heredera de esta rama, se casó en 1446 con Arthaud de St-Germain d'Apchon, barón de Montrond. Otra rama de esta casa, conocida como los siglos de Condrieu y Valprivas, separados en el siglo XIV, se extinguió en 1393 con Agnes, dama de Valprivas, etc. (fronteras de Forez-Velay), casada con Jean de Thélis.
