Famiglia di Amandola (Ascoli Piceno), che ottenne la nobiltà di Cingoli il 7 giugno 1788 in persona di Donato; è iscritta nel Libro d'Oro della Nobiltà Italiana e nell'Elenco Nobiliare Ufficiale Italiano con il titolo di nobile di Cingoli (mf.), ed è rappresentata da Antonio, n. Amandola 9 settembre 1917 dai furono Ulderico (n. 27 febbraio 1889 e deced. in guerra 14 novembre 1917) e Caterina Ricci Spadoni, tuttora vivente. Sorelle: Enrica, n. Amandola 23 aprile 1913; Eleonora, n. Amandola 11 luglio 1915. Tali sono i principii, che da sopracitati Autori si diedero a questa famiglia, ma per esser questo fatto assai remoto, e d'historia molto lontana, lasciamo perciò a più eruditi delle sacre antichità, e dell'historie l'investigarne il suo certo principio.
